Tools and Materials Needed

• 4 or 5-inch angle grinder
• 14mm Diamond Core Drill Bit
• 14mm masonry drill bit
• Chemical anchoring product
• Measuring tape
• Level
• 12mm threaded rods
• 19mm spanner
• Rotating plates
• Plastic inserts

Installation Steps

Step 1: Determine Installation Height

• Identify the highest point of your installation area (such as a balcony).
• Position the top of the spigot 110mm below the highest point to accommodate a standard 1200mm glass panel.

Step 2: Marking Hole Centres

• Mark two hole centres precisely at 22mm and 75mm below the top line of the spigot placement.
• Ensure these fixing holes are level and consistently marked along the entire installation area.

Step 3: Glass Panel Calculation and Spigot Positioning

• Measure the total width of the installation area.
• Divide this length evenly using standard-sized glass panels, determining consistent gap distances between panels.
• Calculate spigot positions, marking each at 20% inwards from the ends of the glass panels.
• Clearly mark spigot positions onto the mounting surface.

Step 4: Drilling Holes

• Use a diamond core drill to drill through facia tile
• Complete drilling the holes using a 14mm masonry drill bit into the concrete slab

Step 5: Cleaning and Anchoring Preparation

• Thoroughly clean drilled holes by blowing out dust, brushing, and repeating until completely clean.

Step 6: Installing Threaded Rods

• Securely install 12mm threaded rods into each drilled hole using chemical bonding adhesive.
• Ensure 15mm of each threaded rod protrudes from the mounting surface.

Step 7: Mounting the Spigots

• Attach the spigots onto the threaded rods, placing special nuts included in the box and tighten onto the threaded rods
• Lightly tighten each spigot with a 19mm spanner, checking carefully to ensure each spigot is level.

Step 8: Glass Installation

• Insert rotating plates into the spigots, followed by appropriate plastic inserts to suit glass thickness you are using for that specific project.
• Carefully install each glass panel into the spigots checking you have the correct glass gaps between each panel
• Adjust the glass forward and back with the Tilt-Lock technology in the the spigot whis is 30mm in each direction.
• Hold a level on the glass and tighten up both grub screws to secure the glass panels

Step 9: Final Adjustments

• Check all glass panels are level and gaps are even. Make fine tuning adjustments forward and back my tightening the top or bottom grub screw on the spigot depending which way you need it to go.

Final Check

Inspect the entire installation carefully, ensuring all components are secure, level, and properly aligned. Your TILT-LOCK Side Fixed 82 Spigots should now be installed correctly.
